The Parents

Where our kittens come from

Every MoonLight kitten is bred from our own TICA-registered queens and kings, each DNA-tested and clear of HCM (the most common feline heart condition) and PKD1. We have bred Ragdolls in our cage-free home since 2017, and kittens are socialized underfoot from the day they can walk.

Jasmine, Seal Point Ragdoll queen, MoonLight Ragdolls Queens NYQueen

Jasmine

Seal Point

Jasmine is our foundation queen and the heart of MoonLight Ragdolls. She carries the classic seal point look — a deep, espresso-brown mask and ears against a warm cream body, with the vivid sapphire eyes the breed is famous for. Around the house she is the calm center of everything: first to greet visitors, last to leave a sunny windowsill, and endlessly patient with kittens that are not even hers. As a mother she is attentive and unhurried, which shows in her babies — Jasmine kittens are consistently confident, people-oriented, and quick to settle into new homes. Like all of our breeding cats she is DNA-tested and HCM and PKD1 clear, and she has raised every litter underfoot in our cage-free Queens, NY home. Families who want the traditional seal point Ragdoll — the one you picture when you hear the breed's name — usually fall in love with Jasmine's line first.

Honey Luna, Blue Bicolor Ragdoll queen, MoonLight Ragdolls Queens NYQueen

Honey Luna

Blue Bicolor

Honey Luna is our soft-spoken beauty — a blue bicolor queen with a powder-grey coat, a crisp snow-white inverted V across her face, and white legs that make her look permanently dressed for an occasion. Her coat is the silkiest in the cattery, a trait she passes on reliably: Honey Luna kittens are known for plush, non-matting fur that stays cloud-soft into adulthood. In temperament she is the definition of the Ragdoll 'puppy cat' — she follows us from room to room, flops into any available lap, and chirps rather than meows. Her litters inherit that gentle, velcro affection, which makes them wonderful matches for families with children. She is TICA-registered, DNA-tested, and HCM and PKD1 clear, raised and breeding in our free-roam Queens, NY home. If you are drawn to the lighter, dreamier side of the Ragdoll palette, Honey Luna's blue bicolor kittens are it.

Peaches, Seal Bicolor Ragdoll queen, MoonLight Ragdolls Queens NYQueen

Peaches

Seal Bicolor

Peaches is our warm seal bicolor queen — rich, toasty brown on her ears and tail, a creamy body, and the bright white inverted V and chest that give bicolor Ragdolls their tuxedo-like charm. She is the cattery's most devoted mother: meticulous with newborns, endlessly tolerant of toddling kittens, and famous in our house for relocating her whole litter to wherever the family happens to be sitting. That early closeness shows — Peaches kittens leave us unusually confident and people-loving, the kind of cats that march straight out of the carrier and claim the sofa. She adores being part of daily life in our cage-free Queens, NY home, supervising dinner prep from the counter-adjacent stool she has decided is hers. DNA-tested and HCM and PKD1 clear, Peaches anchors our seal bicolor line, and her kittens are some of the most requested on our waitlist.

King, Seal Lynx Bicolor Ragdoll king, MoonLight Ragdolls Queens NYKing

King

Seal Lynx Bicolor

King is our flagship sire and he wears the name honestly. A large, stately seal lynx bicolor, he carries delicate tabby barring through his points, a magnificent ruff that frames his face like a collar, and the unhurried confidence of a cat who has never once been rushed. Visitors are always struck by his size — Ragdoll males are among the largest domestic cats, and King fills a doorway — and then disarmed by how gently he uses it, lowering his head for scratches and draping himself across laps like a weighted blanket. As a sire he stamps his litters with structure: broad chests, strong boning, plush coats, and that steady, laid-back temperament the breed is loved for. He is fully DNA health-tested, HCM and PKD1 clear, and TICA-registered, living free-roam with the family in our Queens, NY home. Much of what makes a MoonLight kitten a MoonLight kitten traces back to King.
