What does a Ragdoll kitten need on day one?
A Ragdoll kitten needs four things ready on day one: the food they were weaned on, a clean litter box with unscented litter, a quiet room to decompress in, and a steel comb for their semi-long coat. Everything else can wait a week. Ragdolls have a single, silky coat with little undercoat, so a five-minute comb-through twice a week keeps them mat-free.
You will not start from zero. Every MoonLight kitten goes home with a starter kit: a supply of the exact food they have been eating, a blanket that smells like their mother and littermates, their vaccination record, and written care notes. We also share what is in our own cabinets, so you can match brands before homecoming day.
